DURHAM, N.C. — Two of the most dangerous finishers in the country share a field Saturday when No. 6 Duke welcomes NC State to Freeman Field at Koskinen Stadium. Kickoff for the ACC match is 5 p.m., and it streams on ACCNX.

Duke forward Mia Minestrella tops the ACC with 32 points and shares the league lead with 15 goals. She is also two goals away from tying the Duke career record of 47, set by Kelly Walbert in 1995. On the other side, NC State’s Jade Bordeleau has 13 goals, more than double the output of any teammate. Erica Roberts has five and Antonella Mazziotto four.

The Blue Devils come in at 8-1-4 and 3-1-3 in the league, tied for fourth with three regular-season matches to go. Only the top six teams reach the ACC Championship, so every point matters. Duke has been tough to beat at home, going 13-0-2 over its last 15 matches in Durham and outscoring visitors 23-3 this fall. Her teammate Sam Courtwright has set up eight goals, best in the league.

NC State sits at 10-3-2 and 3-3-1 after a 1-0 win over Syracuse on Oct. 15, when Mazziotto scored a minute after coming off the bench. A win would be the program’s 12th ever against Duke and its fourth ACC victory of the season.

History favors the hosts. Duke leads the all-time series 26-11-4 and has not lost to the Wolfpack since a 2-1 defeat in Durham in October 2021, a double-overtime game NC State won on a goal with 19 seconds left. The Wolfpack played a man down for most of last season’s 3-1 home loss to the Blue Devils.

Duke will honor eight seniors before the match, at about 4:50 p.m., so fans are asked to arrive early. Second-year coach Kieran Hall led the Blue Devils to the College Cup in his first season.
