Event note: This event has been canceled.

Join us for the third session of The Morning Grind, a new series for Triangle entrepreneurs to learn, connect and grow through interactive talks, networking and practical insights.

The July 29 topic is AI is Not a Lawyer: Uses, Risks + Responsibilities With Jesse Jones.

Artificial intelligence can draft a contract and sound confident doing it. But it’s not a lawyer. Let’s talk about the uses, risks and responsibilities of using AI with a real lawyer.

Jesse Jones, founding lawyer at Fourscore Business Law, will dive into the uses, risks and responsibilities of using AI as a legal assistant on your entrepreneurial journey. We’ll discuss the pros and cons of various legal pathways entrepreneurs might take, including how lawyers use AI and the risks and red flags to watch for when using AI. We’ll also give an AI tool a prompt and discuss the output.

You’ll leave knowing when AI is a useful starting point, when it’s a liability and when to call a lawyer instead.

This free event is open to all. Kick off the morning with coffee, pastries and conversation before diving into an interactive session.
