RALEIGH, N.C. — Shoppers looking for tile, hardwood and vinyl now have a new warehouse stop on Capital Blvd after Floor & Decor unlocked its first Raleigh location at 3131 Capital Blvd.

The Atlanta-based chain said the doors opened to customers on Thursday, Oct. 15, with roughly 50 people on staff. Jackie Wint is running the store as its chief executive merchant.

A fuller kickoff comes Thursday, Nov. 5: a 10 a.m. ribbon cutting with the Greater Raleigh Chamber of Commerce, then a 5 to 8 p.m. PRO night aimed at contractors, installers and designers. Trade guests will have a shot at winning a 2026 Chevrolet Colorado.

Capital Boulevard ranks among Raleigh’s busiest commercial corridors, a north-south retail stretch already packed with big-box and specialty stores. Landing the flooring warehouse on that spine puts it where weekend errand traffic already flows.

Inside, the company stocks tile, wood, laminate, vinyl, natural stone, decorative wall tile and installation gear. Hours are posted as 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. weekdays, 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday.

Nationwide the retailer counts a few dozen states in its footprint, with well over 250 warehouse-style stores plus a handful of design studios. The Home Depot on Capital Blvd already anchors a nearby hardware draw for the same corridor, underscoring how much home-project shopping concentrates there.

For homeowners and pros on Raleigh’s north side, the Capital Blvd address shortens what used to be a drive to other Triangle markets for that warehouse-format flooring mix. Wint framed the opening as a chance to make trend-forward hard-surface floors easier to reach for local customers.

The Nov. 5 celebration is meant for both walk-in shoppers and the trade. Pros can find event details through the company’s PRO grand-opening page for Raleigh, while the chamber ribbon cutting marks the store’s formal welcome to the city’s business community.
